Q. What's the best way to roll a vinyl banner? I've always rolled it with the letters on the inside in order to protect the letters. but someone told me that was the wrong way.
A. The best way to keep a banner looking good is to roll the letters, logos, etc to the outside, then place it in a protective covering. Rolling to the outside, keeps the letters from wrinkling and lifting from the banner
Q. How can I determine how much electrical power I need?
A. Just look at the back of the equipment you will be using. The watts or the amps should be with the UL tag. Call us for the formula.
Q. I didn't order electrical when I sent my application. Can I still order it?
A. Yes, but it will cost more than if you ordered it on your application. Just download the electrical form and mail it with your check (time permitting) or fax it with your credit card to 916.285.6076.
Q. How many people should I have in my booth space?
A. In a standard 10 x 10 space (the industry standard) You should have no more than 2-3 people. Anymore than that, and there is no space for the attendees.
Q. I want to have a sign that is taller than the 8' back drop? Is that OK?
A. If you have an 'inline booth' you cannot have any signs higher than the backdrop. That is because the back of your sign would be visible from the
exhibitor's booth on your back side. If your booth is on a perimeter wall, all the space above your booth is available for your use. No tape, hooks, nails etc. may be attached or nailed into any walls of the facility.
Q. Do I need a food permit to have candy in my booth?
A. Currently, a food permit (also called health permit) is not needed for commercially wrapped candy. Keep in mind the County Health Department can change their policy at any time.
Q. What about eating in booths. I noticed people doing that at another show.
A. It is against our show rules to eat in your booth. Soft drinks and water are O.K. but should be placed discretely in the booth.
Q. Where do I get the hooks to hang my banner.
A. We will have extra hooks at the show. Just check in at the Concierge Service Desk.
